Goodbye to 35mm Cameras

Dixons, the Uk's leading high street retailer of consumer technology, today announces that it will no longer sel 35mm film - based camers.

maybe, but it also means that the price of 35 mm camera's may go down, for a while, and perhaps people an get then cheaper.

Although I don't have a digital camera, I am intrested in it. But for a ver long period, I was intrested, but did not find anything useful, anything that would give the same level of image quality/flexibilty/price as the canon eos 300.

Even now, when one goes for a camera that offers the same, one will stay pay a higher price. Although the latest model at I thought 750 euro's is the cheapest digital reflex camera allowing for changing of lenses.

And although digital video camera's make a lot of things easier, and they intrest me, I 'm also intrested in 8 and 16mm film camera's more difficult. Becuase there it has to be right from the first time. The film is to expensive to allow for many mistakes.
